I used to use the big original food processor. I went through several versions of those over the years. Then I gave up on them and returned to using a knife. Recently, I saw this little food processor and thought that it would be perfect. I could leave it out in the kitchen all the time. I could use it for one meal, toss it in the dishwasher and have it ready for the next day. That's how I use it and it works great. Just a couple of simple pulses and you're done. It is no more complicated than that and I like that it is simplistic. I no longer cook anything but small meals so this is a perfect size for me.

I bought this when my one year old daughter outgrew her infant travel system. This was one of the very few travel systems for children over 22 lbs. I travel a lot - half the time just me and my daughter - so I wanted a car seat stroller set I could use in the airports and at our destinations. With this product, I don't have to carry a car seat and diaper bag and push a stroller in the airport and I am never without a car seat or stroller at our destination. It is very convenient. The system is a bit pricey, but I have already used it for a 10 day trip to Istanbul, Turkey and a lengthy car ride and I am very glad with my purchase; I should be able to use it until she is close to two years old. The car seat is quite deep so my daughter has plenty of leg room - I am leaving her car seat rear-facing for awhile longer - my doctor says it is safer.

On the down side: the stroller does not fold very compactly and therefore takes up a lot of room in the car. Also, the back rest of the stroller does not really come up straight - it is always somewhat reclined - not a problem for my daughter as she just pulls herself up on the snack tray - but younger babies might have more trouble sitting up straight.

Overall, I am very satisfied.

I purchased this seat for my Subaru Impreza; which has a small backseat. I have this seat rear-facing in the center seat and the install is nice and tight; the seat fits great. My daughter loves riding in it and always seems comfortable. When she falls asleep, her head doesn't fall forward at all. We love it so much we bought the same one for my husband's car (also Subaru Impreza.)



If you have a larger car, I would get a larger seat (like the Boulevard) since it has higher weight/height limits. But, for compact cars, this seat is great.



The Onyx color also looks really sharp!

I just bought this stroller and I will give to honest first impression:



Good

a) The material is awesome--very high quality.

b) basket is awesome for a light weight stroller

c) Love the recline.

e) Canopy is great.

f) fold is awesome.

g) snack tray with button to swing it out of the way to get older kids in and out (reason I bought it)





Now the bad



a) I understand why other people say it is flimsy. The plastic used on the tray is very thin. I would say 1/2 the thickness of graco strollers. The adult handle bar is thin plastic. The frame has too thin of plastic. The seat has a plastic frame which feels flimsy although my son did not mind it and my three year old said it was comfortable.

b) I do worry about if it will be durable enough. I see why peg perego stopped making it. It looks like a big dog stroller but it is flimsy.



I haven't decided if I should return or not. It is a suped up version of a pop stroller which is what I was looking for.



Update: So I have had the stroller for two weeks now. I must say I love how light this stroller is. I have three children so the last thing I want to do is brake my back putting the stroller away in my trunk. Yes, the frame is plastic but you will not find a pop stroller that in more comfortable w/ a recline, snack tray, lg canopy. I also love how the brake lever is large that I can easily do/undo it with my foot. The fold is tricky but not bad. I have to do it slowly as not to scrape the basket bar on the ground. The fold isn't as smooth as I would like but not bad.

This seems like a good stroller for twins and may work quite well with some infant seats but it did not seem safe with the Chicco Keyfit 30 seats I already had. The Chicco was listed as one of the compatible seats for this stroller but it just sat on top of the stroller -- the only thing holding the seat in place was a rather flimsy, adjustable belt. I was able to adjust the belt somewhat and got the seat not to move side to side but with nothing to snap into, it tilted up and down quite a bit. I think the idea is supposed to be that it's heavy enough with a baby in it not to move but it seemed to me if I accidentally hit the front of the stroller against something, the car seat could potentially lift up and that just didn't seem very safe. I can see how a seat with a notch in the bottom would be secure on the bar that's supplied with the stroller but since the Chicco is rounded on the bottom with no notch, I'm not sure why it's listed as a compatible seat. The stroller itself was very light and folded up very compactly and really seemed ideal to use until the babies no longer fit in their car seats, but it just didn't seem to be safe for use with my car seats.

I got this food processor five years ago because I liked the fact that the base is metal. I figured it was so frigging expensive and so frigging solid-looking that I would never have to buy another food processor... Well, I probably never WILL have to buy another food processor...but in five years, I've had to replace the WORK BOWL three times (at $60 a pop). It is such a poorly designed piece of crap to attach to such a sturdy, reliable base...like a bullet-, water-, fire-, and shock-proof safe with a cheap plastic padlock. The shiny handle on the work bowl is metal, which is fine, but it is extremely heavy, while the bowl is shockingly flimsy plastic; the laws of physics practically guarantee that locking the big heavy handle into the base will put tremendous stress on the bowl, and eventually, the bowl will crack. Most recently, I had to replace the bowl because, instead of a cracked bowl, the handle broke off, and I was shocked and appalled to see that while the handle is metal and weighs more than a pound, the hardware that forms the locking mechanism is mostly PLASTIC! I'm stuck with this machine because, even though I could buy another food processor with the money I'd save on replacement bowls, I feel like I should keep it as long as the motor still works, but don't make the same mistake! Get a Cuisinart or a KitchenAid!

I love this system. I only have 2 complaints. 1) It's a bit big and doesn't fit in the trunk of my car very well. I can fit it in there with maybe a shopping bag or two, but not much. Of course, I have a small car (Subaru Impreza). 2) When you fold the stroller down the front tray easily smacks down on the ground and has scratched the front of the tray. You have to fold it carefully in order to avoid scratching it up.



The things I love about it are the fact that it's sturdy, easy to maneuver, and despite it being big, it'll still go through most aisles. My son seems comfortable and secure in the stroller.



The carseat is heavy. Heavier than other carseats, but it's rated one of the safest carseats (at least it was when I bought it). The material doesn't breathe well, so in the heat, baby got a little sweaty. That wasn't a big deal to me. My son never seemed to get over-heated or uncomfortable in the carseat.



Over all, I'd recommend this system to others.

!$ KitchenAid KFPW760WH 700 Watt 12 Cup Food Processor White

After much research on Amazon and comparing the KitchenAid with Cuisinart, I went for the 12 cup KitchenAid, and bought one for our daughter in law too. From the outset I did not like the fact that the bowl leaked easily (a problem I'd never encountered with my previous "cheapo" food processor). I've had the KitchenAid now for a little over two years and have probably used it a dozen times, and unfortunately the plastic lid, the work bowl handle, and the feed tube pusher have all developed serious cracks, and the handle is about falling off. I chatted online with a KitchenAid rep who informed me the warranty was only good for one year, and that it would cost me about $80 to replace these parts. She said my problems are unusual, and suggested that washing parts in the dishwasher might have caused this. I understood the parts to be dishwasher safe, and for 20 years I had washed my previous FP parts in the dishwasher and never had any problems.



In the end I decided not to reinvest in this machine, so I retired it in favor of a new 14 cup Cuisinart. I got it home and immediately tested it out with a huge batch of (potentially leaky) gazpacho. It worked great, and without the drips I'd suffered with the KitchenAid. The Cuisinart is billed as "dishwasher safe" but just in case I'm planning to handwash the plastic parts. But if I succumb to the dishwasher, at least with the Cuisinart there is a 3-5 year warranty.



In summary, I was disappointed with the leakiness of the KitchenAid, and really dismayed that the plastic parts cracked and were ruined after such a short time and so little use. Now I've got a useless base and attachments on my hands--what a waste.



I think Cuisinart is probably the legitimate winner of the Food Processing category, just as KitchenAid takes the title for its stand mixers. I also have a mini Cuisinart FP that is terrific.

This car seat is horrible. We used the LATCH system with the seat facing the rear. It was so hard for my husband and I to tighten the seat enough. It kept tipping over, even with towels underneath. We received this as a gift before he was born, so we have no way of returing it. I am very disappointed.

I love this stroller, especially for a hundred bucks! My 2 yr old and 6 months old love our walks to the park in it. It handles the uneven road pavement better than I expected. I like the 5 point harness for my infant and it is the only one at this price with the grab bar. (I chose this stroller over the $99 Jeep one because of the storage baskets, the 5pt harness, and the grab bar) The stroller I received has the baskets positioned ABOVE the metal crisscross bars, (unlike the pictures here) so they obviously fixed the problem with the baskets dragging, it is no longer an issue. Someone also complained of a locked wheel, I had that too, until I ummm...unlocked it...by flipping off the lock on that wheel. It is pretty lightweight and compact when folded, especially for a double stroller, which a must for an owner of a smaller-trunked car. Over all, I am extremely impressed at what a hundred bucks can get you. I was worried due to the other reviews of this model here, but after searching everywhere for a better INEXPENSIVE option, I found there are NONE, and took a chance. Glad I did.

$*$ Safety 1st Deluxe Play Yard Prescott

I ordered this for our church nursery because we were desperately in need of a couple of new pack-and-plays. I splurged on the other (a Bjorn one that I hope will last indefinitely!) and picked this because it was the cheapest one that included the full-size bassinet and a changing area. We haven't used it very long, yet, but--of course--it is an improvement over our very old, used ones! The changing area was smaller than I thought it would be but I like that it is a little deeper--making it less likely for a little one to roll off. It was also a little hard to get on properly, I guess. Someone else had set it up and I noticed that they DIDN'T have the changer attached properly. It took me a few minutes to get it to snap into place but once I did, I felt that it was very secure place to put baby (part of the reason I chose this model, as well--I like that the changer is in the middle of the frame and supported on two sides instead of the kind that are more cantelievered from the end).

I bought this blade for the purpose of grating carrots for carrot cake. I previously used the recommended shredder but this blade grated the carrots perfectly and my cake was consistent with carrot flavor-as opposed to the strands of shreds which were throughout my cake when I used the shredder. The flavor of the cake was much richer and moister. I plan on trying other veggies to grate for baking purposes.



The blade is great! It would have taken me a long time to grate all those carrots by hand. The blade is a real energy and time saver and does a much better job

This is a very good stroller, good design, very easy to maneuver, lightweight, and easy to fold. I took one star out because I had to return it. The charcoal raspberry is actually pinkish-fuchsia and too girlish for a boy. And I couldn't buy the black-scarlet stroller from amazon. Having a snug ride 32 car seat and frame for the first six months was great but we wanted to let our baby to explore and sit down while walking with him. He is very happy in this stroller. I don't know yet about durability because it has been just two weeks but it looks solid.

I absolutely fell in love with this playard. It was pretty simple to put together and it is so convenient. My baby loves takes naps in it (as long as he is propped up on his Boppy). The changing table is great too because of the 'arm' that lets down without having to be taken apart. The ONLY complaint I have about this playard is the diaper/accessory caddy is NOT sturdy at all. You have to be very careful not to knock it off. Luckily the few times this happened to me the changer was down and caught it. Overall, a very good buy!

We've owned six (6) MacLaren strollers, including this one.



In spite of the recall, we felt confident in buying another MacLaren for the arrival of our fourth child - and in fact purchased this for the car seat adapter, something MacLaren had never provided in the past.



We used a Graco car seat, the exact model specified on the MacLaren materials and website. The bar that attaches to support the car seat was only initially tight-fitting, and within the first month of use it snapped off multiple times, causing the car seat to nearly fall to the ground. (Thankfully the belt was very firmly attached, so the baby was not injured.) The seat adapter *was* installed exactly as the directions advised, and my engineer husband even tried to determine a better/safer means of using this.



Additionally, the stroller is wobbly; not stable as our other MacLarens have been, and the side 'lock' that is to keep it closed when folded frequently comes unlatched.



My REAL frustration came when I contacted MacLaren customer support. A 'gentleman' (insert sarcasm here) asked me what model of car seat I was trying to install. When I replied that it was a MacLaren-approved Graco model, his response was a request for me to send them the stroller AND the car seat for inspection. Like many families, we have ONE car seat, so it seemed that MacLaren arrogantly expected us to go purchase another while they tried to place blame on another manufacturer's product?



The car seat was (is) in excellent condition, and in fact works beautifully with the UppaBaby Vista that we purchased after the MacLaren nearly dumped our baby on the ground on numerous occasions.



We've yet to receive any form of resolution from MacLaren.



As a British-American family, we're particularly disappointed...it seems that the same flacks advising Tony Hayward have a hand in MacLaren's customer service department. It's a pity to see yet another British company that is so arrogant, unaccountable and unresponsive.

I am so happy with this stroller!



We were using the Chicco Cortina on loan from a friend for 6 months and had to return it as they are expecting their 2nd child in a couple weeks. We received a Jeep Cherokee Sport Stroller in Shock at our shower, so we broke that one out, but it wasn't comfortable for a 6 month old. I love the Jeep stroller and it will be great when traveling light when our daughter is about 18 months+, but right now she needed something more plush.



I was very sad to be without the Cortina and wanted to buy one of our own, but decided to shop around for one that wasn't so heavy and wide. I found this Graco Vie4 stroller to be just right. It is lighter, more agile, and narrower than the Cortina; but more padded, roomier and better equipped than the Jeep Sport.



Here is everything I love:

- The fabric is adorable and better looking in person, the flowers look Hawaiian

- The basket is better than the full size Cortina, longer and easier to get to

- The handling is zippy and silent

- There are 2 coffee cup holders AND a lidded cubby on the parent tray

- The child's tray can accomodate a sippy cup or juice box in the same hole

- I was able to snap it together in 20 minutes by myself without having to dig out the directions

- It reclines flat for sleeping and an emergency changing table

- It is much lighter than the Cortina

- The handle is adjustable for my tall husband

- The fabric is pink but the body is a nice cocoa brown which makes the pink it more subtle in person

- The canopy is large with a nice big clear porthole to check on baby

- The harness is very clever, the one buckle goes from a 3 to 5 point harness with sliding shoulder straps

- The harness straps adjust easily thanks to push buttons, no having to pull twice through a slide buckle

- The foot flap can fold up to create a bassinet, it also folds under the seat for more room on foot rest

- When the seat is in the upright position, there's a pocket behind the headrest I can stash a toy or snack

- It really does fold open and closed with one hand



Here are the things I wish were better:

- It doesn't fold as flat as you think it will, but I have a CRV and still have room in the back

- The canopy isn't designed to also fold in front like the Cortina, but if you don't secure it under the parent tray, it can!

- The Jeep has loops on canopy to hang toys, I wish this one did too so I made my own with ribbon

- I wish the buttons were pink or brown and not red, just the graphic designer in me being picky :)



I think a couple of the bad reviews here are because the poor people received a lemon, they should ask for a replacement. I think the gentleman who had the uncomfortable seat angle had a broken stroller since it sounds like it wouldn't unfold/open all the way. The gal who had a seat that wouldn't sit upright may have had a faulty adjustment strap. I am fortunate to not have experienced any of these problems.



Overall I highly recommend this stroller, especially if you get it on sale with the free shipping!

- Effortless steering. You can easily push this stroller around with one hand, or with a couple fingers which is very unlike many other dual strollers. So awesome for jogging even in the sand and bumpy terrain.

- Effective stopping. You can rely on these brakes. Your stroller will not drift away from you when the brakes are set.

- 5 point harness system keeps the little ones safely in their seats.

- Sunshade canopies really block the sun even at weird angles, unlike other stroller shades.

- Side-by-side stroller which can actually FIT THROUGH REGULAR DOORS!



Cons

- Expensive. 'Nuff said.

- Underseat storage compartment is absolutely ridiculous. You Cannot Store Even An Average-Sized Diaper Bag Under There in an upright position!!! You have to resort to laying your diaper bag horizontally and cramming it in there as best as you can.

- Backside mesh compartment is not roomy either.

- No built-in cup holders. I would suggest purchasing the BOB cupholder & zippered pocket attachment you can velcro onto the handlebar if you need a handy place for your water bottle.



Overall, even with the cons, I highly recommend this stroller for parents who need a versatile jogging or go-anywhere stroller.

Overall, I find this to be a good travel system, but there are a few things I would change. Most importantly, the storage area under the stroller is very small and even our baby's diaper bag does not fit into it. I also feel that the material that the baby sits on in the car seat is hot, and does not breathe well ~ my baby is always getting very sweaty in it. Finally, the stroller is very bulky. The design makes opening and collapsing it very easy, but I have a 4 door mid sized car, and the stroller LITERALLY almost does not fit in the trunk. Though in the end I have managed to make it fit, I basically can't fit anything else in the trunk when it's in there. It is also rather bulky, and can be difficult to manage for some people. Overall, I do think that this is a well made, safe product, but I would probably purchase a different one if I had to do it again.
